Junkfood Bandits

Two raccoons, one with a bag of Cheetos and the other with Doritos. They look completely delighted with themselves. Like the animals throughout this body of work, these two aren't meant to be mischievous for the sake of it. They're just completely absorbed in something they love - a feeling we share with animals more than we sometimes realize. This painting was particularly fun for me because I love painting packaging and exploring all the visual language and concentrated colors that goes into it. Plus I've always been a huge fan of Chester Cheetah.
