Collection: Truckers & Rope Hats

Trucker hats and rope hats are where Flyn Hats began: a patch of one of Flyn Costello's animal paintings, sewn onto a mesh-back cap so the art could leave the wall. This collection gathers every version of that idea - structured foam-front truckers, unstructured mesh-back snapbacks, wide-set mesh caps and the classic rope cap with its braided cord across the brim.

The animals come first. The Beer Bandit raccoon is the best known, but you'll also find the Gone Fishin' pelican, the Can Crusher goat, the Usual Suspects fox and wolf, Pigeons Run on Donuts, the Seagull with Cig and the Not Dead Yet opossum, each patched onto a trucker or rope hat in a range of colorways. Every patch is cut and sewn by hand in our studio in Westbrook, Maine, and the mesh back keeps things breathable for summer.

If you're after a raccoon trucker hat, an animal snapback or a corduroy rope hat with a bit of personality, this is the place to start.
