Collection: Matchboxes

The smallest canvas in the shop. Flyn matchboxes come in two sizes - a large four-inch box for the mantel or the candle shelf, and a small one for a pocket, a purse or a party favor - each printed with one of Flyn Costello's original animal paintings and filled with real matches.

The designs lean toward the shop's mischief-makers: the Seagull with Cig (the irony is intentional), True Love's claw-machine raccoons, the Skunky Haze skunk, the Usual Suspects fox, the Snack Machine Heist raccoon and the Bombs Away raccoon with his sake bomb. They're a favorite stocking stuffer and the reason several of our customers now own more candles than they planned. Each box is printed with the full painting, so the smallest FLYN product still carries the whole story.

If you're looking for art matchboxes, a seagull matchbox or a tiny gift that doesn't feel tiny, this is the collection. Pair one with a candle from someone else and a pillowcase from us.
