Trash Bandit

Trash Bandit is a painting of a garbage truck with raccoons riding on the back and getting into the trash barrels.

I saw a video of a raccoon riding on the back of a garbage truck, and I knew I wanted to paint it. There was something so perfectly raccoon about it.

The painting is about 36 in long and most of it is the truck. The raccoons are painted to scale, so they're actually pretty small in the picture. I like that. They're not oversized or made into cartoon characters, they're just little raccoons going about their business on this enormous garbage truck.
